While comparison shopping for a Yurt, you may notice many manufacturers offer extras, such as a "Snow & Wind kit", "Heavy Duty Cover", or "Rain Diverter". We stress that our basic Yurt includes and/or exceeds the structural strength and durability features offered as "extra" by other manufacturers, without any deceptive additional costs. We offer no "light duty" model (save for a lightweight insulation liner option,) and remain priced competitively.
- Covers are made entirely of 28 oz. Duro-Last roofing fabric, premium among all Yurt manufacturers. The fabric carries a 15 year warranty against leakage.
- Basic Yurt is professionally engineered to withstand wind speeds of over 100 mph, and stay standing under 60 pounds per square foot snow loads.
- A unique, handcrafted stovepipe accommodating high-wind geodesic skylight. (Pat. Pending.)
