When you purchase a Nomad Shelter yurt. Yurts will include two 4'x 3'10" windows included in purchase price. The yurt windows have removable polyvinyl panes and removable bug screens. They also have storm 28 oz. Duro-last flaps that velcro down over the window. The yurt cover is also assembled out of 28 oz. Duro-last. Insulation inserts are also provided when the yurt is purchased with a liner. When the storm flaps are down the r-value is the same as the rest of the lattice wall.
The octagonal skylight with the stove stack opening is fix through the center either capped or left open to accommodate a six inch metalbestos stove stack.
The 16' foot yurt we manufacture comes with a hand-made half light Plexiglas door. The 20'ft. and larger yurts come with a stock, metal, insulated half light door frame, and locking knob handles are included in yurt purchase price.
